Power Unit
Is the heart of Hydraulic System. It pumps the oil (blood) to the cylinder (arm).
A power unit is made of basic components like Motor, Pump and Valve. Motor rotates the pump, pump takes the oil from the tank and send it to the valve. The valve sends controlled amount of oil to the cylinder.
Desired performance of the power unit is up to correct design, assemble and dynamic test, which we will explain below:
Correct design
Selecting the proper motor, pump and valve needs exact calculations beside enough experience.
Thanks to mechanical engineering education and 15 years of experience in hydraulic industry, Cylinders and Units have the best design.
Correct Assembly
High quality components are not enough!
In order to have good power unit, correct assembling processes besides fine tips and tricks like very clean assembling environment are necessities.
Dynamic Test
Its not over yet!
At the end of assembling, each power unit is being tested under 1.5-time normal working pressure. Motor ampere, correct function of valve coils, valve adjustment according to customer data are being controlled and done by quality assurance technicians in test tower.
Home Lift Power Unit
A light elevator of maximum 3 persons, which move with maximum 0.2 m/s, mostly using a single-phase electricity is called a Home Lift.
Car, Carsling and other attachments are designed in a way that weigh maximum 275 Kg. So some techniques are performed to lighten up the car, like replacing the car door with 2-meter photocell.
These lifts are designed mostly for duplex or triplex homes, buildings which already have been built and don’t have elevators. In such cases home lifts can be designed in terrace, stairwell, landing plate or face of the building.
Our standard home lift power units type1 have Blain Kv valves, Seim or Settima pumps and either submerged (SB – Elmo) or Air-cooled motors. Oil capacity is 45 litrs.
Ordering customized power unit are possible.
Elevator Power unit
Thanks to 120 liters capacity, they are being used for up to 4 stops elevators, employing Blain EV100 ¾’’, Seim or Settima pumps and SB or Elmo motors.
The ratio of the length, the width and the height of the box is designed in a way to maximize the oil heat transfer and at the same time minimize the weight, oil turbulence in down direction and optimize portability and adjustability.
They are having 5.6 kw to 12.5 Kw submersible Italian motors.
They are having flow dampers and oil heaters by default.
In Power Units which are manufactured according to new version of En81-2 Standard, hand pump and pressure switches are also mandatory.
Car lift Power unit
Thanks to 220 liters capacity, they are being used for up to 6 stops elevators, employing Blain EV100 1.5’’, Seim or Settima pumps and SB or Elmo motors.
The ratio of the length, the width and the height of the box is designed in a way to maximize the oil heat transfer and at the same time minimize the weight, oil turbulence in down direction and optimize portability and adjustability.
They are having 9.5 kw to 22 Kw submersible Italian motors.
They are having flow dampers and oil heaters by default.
In Power Units which are manufactured according to new version of En81-2 Standard, hand pump and pressure switches are also mandatory.
Super heavy Power unit
Thanks to 300 liters capacity, they are being used for heavy duty and specific elevators, employing Blain EV100 1.5’’ or 2’’, Seim or Settima pumps and SB or Elmo motors.
The ratio of the length, the width and the height of the box is designed in a way to maximize the oil heat transfer and at the same time minimize the weight, oil turbulence in down direction and optimize portability and adjustability.
They are having 14.7 kw to 30 Kw submersible Italian motors.
They are having flow dampers and oil heaters by default.
In Power Units which are manufactured according to new version of En81-2 Standard, hand pump and pressure switches are also mandatory.
